About this deal

The headline says it all, and my bosses are over the moon when the opportunity of a lifetime lands in my lap. I loved that this story and its event made them re-evaluate everything they thought was important and who they were and who they wanted to be. The dual POV narration by Connor and Erin was perfect and they certainly delivered by bringing the characters to life, by bringing the feels that flayed and floored.

As they take hurting steps towards some kind of normalcy, Aly pours salt on their wounds and the howl that left Bree and Eason tears up the sky.Sphere is home to some of the world's best-loved authors and books, ranging from Jenny Colgan and Carole Matthews to Mark Billingham, Val McDermid and even Gwyneth Paltrow. They have to put themselves back together again after heartbreak, after devastation, after the death of their people. I hate DNFING books, so I really honestly did try to power through this but I just co A house fire kills their spouses, and in the moment when Eason thought he was saving his own wife, he realized he was saving Bree.

Yet as they both start to heal, and romance flickers to life, secrets from the past threaten to ignite. From the Embers publishes in e-book on 20th December 2022 and will be released in paperback in February 2023. I do prefer a little more sizzle and obsession in my love affairs, but in this story the MCs had multiple kids and that always reduces the heat. I love it when the events of a story hurt my heart and envelope me within their feels in the deepest and realest of ways. But carved into my soul for the rest of my days would be the earth-shattering realization that the woman in my arms wasn’t my wife.

I loved the found family aspect, the bond between Eason and Bree, and the tender moments that will get to you. Very few authors get to me like she does, and I just can’t wait to read what she’ll come up with next! Our closest neighbor was over half a mile away, but there was no way they hadn’t heard the explosion. they seemed like intriguing characters, their personal history was interesting, and they seemed to have a real opposites attack (lol i meant attract) vibe going on. the comparisons to colleen hoover’s regretting you are pretty inevitable but the stylistic differences are so large imo that they’re far from being the same book.I loved everything and totally grieved with both Eason and Bree, for their loss and the devastating truths that were uncovered. Our books regularly hit the bestseller lists, and we have powered countless authors to household-name status.

Everyone in her daughter’s life is determined to shut Kenna out, no matter how hard she works to prove herself.

I read From the Embers and all I expected was a lot of sadness, grieving and guilt from the 2 MCs starting to fall for each other but their dead spouses were having an AFFAIR WITH EACH OTHER! Being in such close quarters these two do grow close as they lean on each other, as they develop more than friendship for the other. I loved that this book was not only about them sharing and building what they were, but it was also about them discovering who they were. she rasped, her voice sounding like it had traveled over a mile of gravel before exiting her throat.
