About this deal

This makes it easy to mock the Corsair iCUE 5000T RGB in a review but there is an important fact to remember. Sadly, there were various points where we thought to ourselves, this isn't right, this is a bit frustrating, and almost downright, this should not be in a chassis of this cost. A few fixes here and there, and Corsair would have a stellar product, but as it sits, there is way too much invested in obtaining this chassis to overlook so many things.

Then again, there is the mess with the CPU cooler access hole too, where you either have to make sure not to wire anything permanently, or you will need to pull the motherboard to change coolers. What may appear to be cooling vents in the top, front and floor are actually better described as viewing ports for the ARGB lighting. As we move back to the front of the iCUE 5000T RGB, we stuck a finger in at the top of the mesh, and hooking the top, can remove it by gently pulling, then lifting it from a pair of tabs at the bottom for removal when cleaning or changing fans. Our third deviation from Corsair specs is that we measured the case at 540mm (not 530mm) from the center of the front panel to the outside of the back panel, with an additional 12mm of distance for the mounting bracket that sticks out the back of the +2 vertical card section.

The added thickness of a radiator would necessitate abandoning the cable-concealing fan shroud, though. The iCUE 5000T features 160 RGB LED's for truly impressive visual design flair for your next PC build, and with support for multiple fans, it can also keep even the most demanding components cool under a heavy gaming session! I had to temporarily remove unhook the hard drive bay, install the PSU and run my cables, then press the bay back into its slot. Thankfully, there were plenty of hooks to route velcro strips and cable ties through to keep things tidy. Near the bottom is where Corsair displayed the iCUE 5000T RGB name, and while not sure who placed it, there is a sticker denoting an excessive amount of weight which is something Corsair does not divulge.

When I set about building this PC, I knew I needed something with lots of space, as I would be adding an RTX 4090 and an X670-E motherboard. Bring in three radiator locations, room for up to ten 120mm fans with some concessions for 140mm fans as well, mix that all up in a striking-looking new exterior, and it seems Corsair is on the right path for success here.Looking dead into the face of the iCUE 5000T RGB, we find that the center of the bezel is wide open with its black mesh insert made up of tiny triangles, where they placed the only external logo or name found outside of the chassis, done with the metal Corsair logo near the bottom. With everything installed, the Corsair iCUE 5000T RGB looks mostly clean on the inside even with the that inner cover unused, and all the wiring behind the motherboard tray has its proper place as well. The rear panel, which is usually held on by thumbscrews and positioning pins, is now on a hinge and opens like a door for much easier access. With a top-mounted radiator, it was almost impossible to unplug the CPU power connector in the 680X without also removing the entire radiator. Rather than be encased with glass on all four sides, the 5000X has a smoked glass side panel to show off all of your components but a mesh front for improved airflow from its three intake fans. Our team of specialists would be more than happy to assist in choosing the right system for you and to discuss upgrades or technical advice should an issue arise. Our Noctua NH-D15 cooler stands at 165 mm tall, just 5 mm short of the side panel, so be mindful about how high you seat the fans.A Unique Look: The 5000T RGB’s distinctive contours and angular accents offer an aesthetic that no other case can match. A spacious interior fits up to 10x 120mm or 4x 140mm cooling fans, along with a 360mm radiator with fans up to 60mm-thick in the front or side position, and a 360mm radiator with fans up to 85mm-thick in the roof position.

For graphics cards, a maximum length of 400 mm is provided, so that even particularly large models can be installed. The entire top will come off, as does the mesh panel in the center, to allow access to the cooling portion at the top of the iCUE 5000T RGB. Outlets and voltage differ internationally and this product may require an adapter or converter for use in your destination. Because of that size, the largest CPU tower coolers and graphics cards should fit in here without issue.
